Warner Hotels and DJ Fresh give location 3746 two very different looks

Our locations don't have to be big to be versatile - check out two very different shoots that recently took place at the residential location with the best classic suburban frontage in the business, 3746...

For Warner Hotels, 3746 was the picture of tranquil domesticity, complete with white picket fence, ornamental water feature, and a very exasperated husband named Colin:

But when the DJ Fresh ft. Ms Dynamite music video for 'Dibby Dibby Sound' rolled in, everything became a speaker, from the front of the house to the postbox, washing machine, and even the family dogs...

We can't wait to see what 2014 holds for 3746 - if you'd like to turn its classic 70s look into something new, or think it's perfect just the way it is, give the residential team a call on 0207 284 8903, or e-mail alison@location-collective.co.uk

Christmas at The Collective!

The Collective had an extra-special Christmas this year!

The cast of Downton Abbey popped by to throw the party of the year at Goldsmiths, where the ornate chandeliers, gilded pillars, and plush carpet made it a natural filming double for Buckingham Palace...

...and Google Nexus created a bit of excitement by smashing the oven door at our residential location 9258, so that they could do a warm family Christmas with a barbecued turkey twist (and a ton of fake snow)...

...then it was time for the Queen's Speech.  The BBC's Gangsta Granny sent Joanna Lumley round to Goldsmiths to pull some shapes as 'the Queen' at 'Buckingham Palace'...

...and finally, Charlie Brooker said goodbye to 2013 at Oriental City Mall, presenting an imitable round-up of the last twelve months in its spookily abandoned car park, corridors, and stairwells for Charlie Brooker's 2013 Wipe.

We hope your Christmas was just as full of glamorous parties, royal cameos, terrible dancing, good food, and good humour as ours...and wish you a very Happy New Year!

The Collective Group celebrates its 7th Birthday!

The Collective Group celebrates its 7th Birthday!

WARNING - Heavy photo post!

This time last week we were still packing away the biggest party of year in one of London's best film locations, Central Saint Martins. The Collective Group turned seven and we couldn't let it pass without a right old knees up! The past year has been filled with change here at Collective HQ and we thought this was the perfect chance to introduce the class of 2013

We met Cat our new Head of Locations...

We picked the lucky winners of this year's Collective Fund draw and it was a big one! We raised a huge £4682.76 for the charity draw which Michelle Pianca will donate and one lucky member, Andrew Dalmahoy pocketed a lovely £1555.80!

We met with old friends and made lots of new ones!

We ate PLENTY of freshly baked pizza straight from the oven!

We'd like to say thank you to everyone that attended and a special big thank you to...

Maybe see you again next year?

Support your production and celebrate success with Wembley City Complex!

From accommodating the England team to a production team, this multi purpose site at the home of football is available with The Collective. With both filming exteriors and interiors as well as office spaces and unit base parking, Wembley City Complex will have you cheering outside of the stadium.

Part of our Exclusive collection this location hosts an exterior of roads and pathways as well as large boulevard, square and car parks within cityscape backdrops of the stadium and arena. With a selection of buildings available the interiors range from a vacant supermarket and food court through to empty offices and commercial retail units. Variety in both the look and function of the different spaces ensures productions can achieve great results at this site so frequently full of great expectation.

With the Olympic Way and Arena Square you are presented with excellent exterior communal spaces set in front of iconic London venues. A combination of roads, bridges, walkways and steps within these large open areas makes the locations perfect urban environments for crowded city scenes.

A multi storey block made up of vacant commercial spaces, York House Offices would perform perfectly as a base for the administrative side of productions. With a variety of large open plan spaces and smaller individual rooms the clean appearance combined with the empty layout of these interiors could construct a network of successful production offices.

With a new Boulevard running through the centre of the complex a spacious public walkway has been created offering productions a promising exterior for replicating a busy city street. With the space visible from different areas of the site this location can be creatively captured from a variety of positions and angles.

Looking around the vacant Supermarket and Food Court, the abandoned counters and isles within the two forgotten spaces creates a post apocalyptic feel. With the large communal eating area a lifeless shell and little to no stock amongst the shelves, freezers and fridges it is as if the spaces have been evacuated and looted. As the infrastructure of these commercial areas remains productions can leave this location to use as a deserted space or redevelop to create populated supermarket and food court interiors.

Into the retail park and Unit A inhabits a large storage room and an interesting space of beams, pillars and platforms. The materials and surfaces within the built structure of this space gives it the potential to be developed into any industrial interior from a warehouse to a workshop.

The spacious Unit B offers a large shell of an interior with good width to the build and a high pillar supported ceiling. A glass front and service entrance filters in amazing natural light opening up the space creating a perfect blank starting point for small scale set build.

With the additions of the spacious Green and Yellow car parks to the site the overall location becomes perfect for use as a production base. If the large open areas are not needed for the practicalities of unit base parking the spaces would make great creative landscapes for filming vehicle advertisements and urban chase scenes.

Don’t wait for extra time... Sign up this location exclusive to The Collective.
Wembley City Complex is a five minute walk from Wembley Park Underground and Wembley stadium Network Rail stations with good road transport links also. There is working power and water onsite as well as large unit base parking as stated.
