Built and opened as a Vestry Hall in the 19th century this historical building has developed from an important civil institution into a popular venue for entertainment. With the different rooms that make up the town hall having hosted all variety of events from a Jack the Ripper murder inquest through to premier East London boxing fights versatility is in abundance with this knockout film location.
As you approach the imposing exterior of this film location towering over the surrounding buildings you are given an insight into its historical importance to the local area. Through the doors and into the grand entrance the decor of the detailed tiled flooring and decorated ceiling take you through a prestigious welcome up to the period gated doorway and twin staircase.
In contrast to the elegance above the basement of the building offers productions a forgotten stripped back bunker of different derelict corridors, rooms and chambers.
