Location Round-Up

It's 2013, we made it!

Happy New Year - we hope that a wonderful Christmas was had by all.

Now that the Roses and tinsel have been put away for another eleven months, December seems but a distant memory. So we thought we should remind you all of the amazing new locations we welcomed to our Exclusive Collection towards the end of last year.

2012 was a massively exciting year for us, and with a new acquisitions manager on board we have sourced an incredible amount of high quality, prestigious buildings for your filming pleasure.

Here's our location review of December 2012... and remember, if you see anything you like just give us a call on 0207 284 8901

A shiny, glass mega office tower, SW1 - vacant and ready for filming with six open plan office floors, fantastic views, a selection of vacant apartments, and parking.

BRE
BRE is a location like no other - by day, this vast complex in Watford is used to test greener ways of building and living, by weekend... and at other times of day... it is a filming site with truely unique opportunities.

King's College
The iconic university campus in the heart of London, King's College offers period classic features, plenty of unit parking, and spectacular unrivaled views across London.

Bateman's Row Penthouse
A stunning modern restidential property, Bateman's Row offers a sleek open plan living space with dramatic floor to ceiling windows, plus two terraces providing wonderful views across EC1.

Blackbushe Airport
Blackbushe Airport in Camberley offers an attractive an accessible hardstanding area with varying backdrops, which is no stranger to a film crew or two...

The Desert in Bedfordshire
This vast quarry in Leighton Buzzard will save your production thousands as it can be transformed to look uncannily like a desert, canyon, or coast from faraway, sunny, exotic lands.

The Collective Fund Draw

Back in December we hosted a wonderful Christmas party in our local. Thank you to everyone who attended! A lovely festive time was had by all, and we thought what better time to carry out our Collective Fund Draw?

For anyone who would like a reminder of what the Collective Fund entails then please follow this link

The amount for the Collective Fund Lottery Draw was an impressive £1763.42

And the amount for the Collective Fund Charity Draw was an even more impressive £2907.26

Thank you to everyone who contributed to these totals - with your help we created a thrilling draw, pictured below!

The lucky winner of the lottery fund was Ben MacGregor, happy 2013 Ben!

Did you see it?

One of the best things about Christmas is the wonderful Christmas telly of course, everyone knows that!

But did you know that we were involved in sourcing locations for over 95% of everything broadcast over the Christmas period?

Okay that's a little bit of a porkie (something to aim for in 2013!) but we did work with some of the most exciting productions to grace our screen this festive period.

Here's the low-down on what we were up to...

The Town - ITV Drama
School set at New Bucks University new side
Council Office set at New Bucks University old side
Party scene shot at Ref 9131

Morrisons Christmas Commercial

Shot at our (temporarily unpublished) ref 10058

Quartet
(okay perhaps not strictly Christmas TV but still great!)

Partially filmed at the beautiful ref. 9694

Call The Midwife Christmas Special

Series based at our very own St Josephs

That's all folks!

Wishing you a very very happy and prosperous 2013.

We hope to speak to you all soon, in the meantime if you need anything please don't hesitate to call any time on 0207 284 8910
